Hi, I'm Mary Anne!

I have been passionate about photography since I first saw the beautiful face of my Katie girl filling the frame twenty years ago. Yes, I have a daughter who is turning twenty this month! I was enraptured by her beautiful browns through the lens and then again with Annie and finally, my son John. They inspired me to capture the beauty and spirits of people and I have been learning all I can about the medium and art of photography ever since.

I love to capture nature as well. I find God in both places. It is not a rare occasion to find myself laughing or crying behind my lens as I experience God's glory in His creation, be it the dew on a blade of grass or the sparkle in someone's eye. I love it all, and know I belong here, doing this. I am at my finest when I am interacting with God's agenda, people, nature, and my camera.

I enjoy riding horses too! I have a beautiful black Tennessee Walker who is still part baby. We are learning to respect and enjoy one another. I love his soft nose and breath that smells like hay and oats. He brings me joy.

I also lead the dance ministry at my home church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I delight in worshiping God through the language of dance and leading a strong group of young women who have both beauty and character. They are rare gems and I am honored to lead them.

I live with my husband and three children on a small farm in Jefferson, GA. My husband Chris leads the worship at our church, 12 Stone and is a wonderful father and husband. I have home schooled all three of my kids and am still partially sane. My youngest is now fifteen so I am almost done!

I love my Father God, my family, my animals and the fact that I get to capture it all through photography!
